Question: What size mattress (thickness) do you need to cover the black area in the day bed?
Answer: Only use a mattress which is 74"-75" long and 37 1/2" - 38 1/2" wide.
● To optimize the use of a trundle use a standard twin size mattress, no thicker than 6". For the daybed 8", yes will cover black area.

Question: How do i clean the fabric? And what type of material is the fabric?
Answer: The fabric is faux velvet.
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

Question: Will 39x75x8 Nod foam mattress fit upper part of the bed?

Question: Do the wood slats have metal support on the frame for the mattress? Do you need a bunkie board?
